Realizing that street lighting is extremely important for creating a safe community, Price Charities provided a lead grant of ninety-five thousand dollars ($95,000) to match funding from the City of San Diego for the installation of forty (40) new street lights.
Price Charities objective is to improve lighting to reduce crime and to increase safety for pedestrians crossing the streets.
