In 2008 Community Housing Works and Price Charities formed a partnership to provide home loan and financial counseling to residents of City Heights facing home foreclosures. City Heights has experienced a higher than average rate of home foreclosures. The Price Charities grant supports a staff of highly skilled foreclosure counselors who assist approximately 100 homeowners per month. Homeowners are provided assistance in understanding their rights and negotiating with lenders.
