Success for Life is an activity involving kindergarten parents and teachers at Rosa Parks, Florence Griffith-Joyner, Edison and Hamilton elementary schools.
Six times each school year kindergarten children and their parents have dinner with their classroom teachers at school. After dinner children attend a social and learning activity while their parents meet with the classroom teacher and Success for Life staff. At each of these meetings a specific topic related to helping their children learn is discussed. Learning materials are distributed so that parents will be able to really help their children. In addition, parents receive progress reports for their children.
