Aprender y Crecer
Aprender y Crecer is a Price Charities program which provides funds to purchase school supplies for elementary public school children in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama. Aprender y Crecer currently provides the annual school supply needs to approximately 25,000 children in Central America at an average cost of $50.00 per child per year. In addition to supplies for the children, the funding provides some supplies to teachers and some cleaning supplies for the more than 55 participating schools.
Aprender y Crecer has hired one person for each country to supervise the distribution of supplies and to assist the principals in gaining maximum classroom advantage from the school supplies.
